About Me
In my current role as Senior Manager of Integrated Marketing at CHN Housing Partners, I lead our full time team members, freelance creatives and a full service marketing agency to deliver multi-channel campaigns that connect Detroiters with essential housing services.
Before CHN, I led creative development and paid media campaigns that promoted community programs and events at the Rocket Community Fund, the philanthropic arm of Rocket Mortgage. At Gleaners Community Food Bank I managed a half-acre production garden and led educational programs that helped residents reconnect with food and land. Later, I co-founded and ran The Fold, a creative agency that developed campaigns for community-centered small businesses and justice-focused nonprofits. Today, I continue this work by volunteering with local farms, organizations improving public transportation in Detroit and by advocating for democracy and working class policies in Michigan.
My background in marketing, paired with my community volunteer work and undergraduate studies in Social Work and Spanish, has shaped and rooted my career in creativity and purpose. Whether I’m shaping a campaign strategy or building a brand voice, I lead with curiosity, care and a data-driven approach.

As a senior marketing leader, I know I’m not exempt from rolling up my sleeves and getting my hand dirty. My goal for myself and my team is to get comfortable not knowing the answer and learn something every day. Doing your due diligence is important but asking for help is not a sign of weakness.
I believe in creating a comfortable, psychologically safe workplace for my peers, leaders and direct reports so they can show up for work without added stress. We all deserve to be ourselves in the workplace and go home without the weight of our workday.
With that being said, I strongly believe that we can be direct while still being kind in the workplace. Whether you’re on the giving or receiving end of a request, I think pushback is essential for meeting your team’s goals and maintaining work life balance. I’ve often said that a “no” or a “later” paves the way for a “yes!”
I’m also a huge fan of the Eisenhower Matrix - a tool that plots Urgency and Importance on an axis to force conversations about prioritization. This tool helps flesh out true priorities that might be disguised in anxiety, a tough requestor or an individual’s urgencies that aren’t aligned with the team’s.
Lastly, writing down your goals and objectives are paramount to moving any organization forward, but especially mission driven organizations. I use the Objectives and Key Results (OKR) framework to measure what matters on my team.
